What can I say about my son? He is the most important person in my life. Every day, I strive to be the kind of man he can look up to—someone he can learn from, lean on, and be proud of. From the beginning, I’ve admired his independence and strength of character. He’s taught me so much—especially about patience and understanding. One memory that stands out is how much he loved our family bike rides when he was younger. I don’t know if he ever realized just how much those moments meant to me. They remain some of my most cherished memories—among many others. Like when he and Rose came for Thanksgiving and we got to spend a special day in Monterey at the aquarium which was both of our first times there.

I met Emiliano at his promotion ceremony from junior high to high school. He was a good kid—full of life, with a love for sports and video games. When he started high school, I’d go to his football games with his mom. We always had a great time, and the drive home was our chance to relive the highlights and talk through the plays. During his Sophomore year, Emiliano moved in with us. I had the privilege of watching him grow into the incredible man he is today. I couldn’t be prouder. I remember teaching him how to drive a stick shift and him getting his drivers license. Over the years, we’ve tackled all kinds of projects together—working on the house, fixing his car, and cooking some truly great meals. I consider myself lucky to be part of his life, and I only hope I’ve made as much of a difference in his as he’s made in mine. Even though we are making it official oh 11/22 my family and I, have felt that Nano has been part of the family from day one.

When Nicole and Felicia walk into a room, you know it. Maybe it’s the burst of David Bowie playing in the background or the scent of something delicious sizzling from their latest culinary experiment—but more likely, it’s their unstoppable, uncontainable laughter echoing down the hall. Bound by a shared love for metal music, quirky adventures, and all things wildly creative, they’ve made a lifetime of memories during their legendary summer escapades. Whether chasing vintage finds at flea markets, hosting themed dinners, or headbanging under starry skies, their bond is pure magic—and just the right amount of chaos.

When I met Carlos, I knew right away he had incredible potential. He was confident, driven, and knew exactly what he wanted out of life. I’ll never forget taking him on a nighttime walking ghost tour in Monterey, California, for his 19th birthday—we had such a great time. We also went whale watching, and that’s another memory I’ll always cherish. Carlos is a truly good man. He works with children with special needs, and the care, patience, and skill he brings to that work is nothing short of inspiring. Not everyone can do what he does—and certainly not at the level he does it. Even though we're making it official on 11/22, my family and I have felt like Carlos has been part of the family from day one.

Every family needs a little sparkle—and Rosetta brings it in spades. She’s sweet, creative, and has a talent for making us smile with her thoughtful spirit and quiet strength. She’s been a beautiful presence in Noah’s life; I can say this with full heart: having someone love and care for our son like she does is a blessing beyond words. Rosetta fits into our family like she’s always been here—like she was just waiting for the right moment to walk in and make everything feel a little more complete. We’re thrilled to have her as part of our wedding celebration—and even more thrilled to have her as part of our family. Rosetta, you’re officially stuck with us now. 💕
